About Sound Match

Sound Match is a memory game for the ears instead of the eyes. Every card hides a musical note — tap one to hear it, then go hunting for the card that plays the very same sound. Pair them all up to win. It takes the familiar memory-card game and swaps the pictures for little tones, so kids strengthen their listening and their recall at the same time. How to Play

• Tap a card to flip it and hear its musical note.
• Flip a second card to try to find the matching note.
• If the two notes match, the cards stay turned over.
• Match all eight pairs to win the game.

Tips & Tricks

• Hum each note softly after you hear it — humming makes a sound far easier to hold in your head.
• Listen for high notes against low ones; the gap between them is your best clue.
• There's no clock, so take a beat to really hear each card before flipping the next.
• Play somewhere quiet, or pop headphones on, so every note comes through clearly.
